The Parijat Tree and other stories

A woman waits for her husband at home and gets an unexpected visitor. A boy comes to the

big city, and is relentlessly bullied at school. A tree observes the machinations of a young

couple, while a ghost plots revenge. An ambitious corporate professional watches his family

disintegrate due to a love affair – or does he? What these stories have in common is that they

reflect love and life in India from the 70s to the current times, with passion and emotions

coming alive at every turn.
