Islamic Lifestyle in the Modern Era

In today’s world, where people of different religions live in different nations, this book provides guidance on how to follow Islamic religious rules and practices of worship without going against the laws of the country, and how to adapt them according to changing times.

It highlights that the foundations of various fields of knowledge such as mathematics, science, astronomy, international law, and medicine were laid by Islamic scholars. The basic principles of Islam are rooted in the values of humanity, and therefore, the Islamic way of life can still be beneficial for humankind today—this idea is strongly emphasized in the book.

The book presents a simple and fluent discussion that brings out the similarities between Islam and other religions in terms of prayers, methods of worship, and core principles.

Divided into four sections—‘Upasananand’ (spiritual joy), ‘Arthikanand’ (economic well-being), ‘Samajikanand’ (social harmony), and ‘Utsavanand’ (festive joy)—the book explores the religious, social, and economic aspects of Islamic life.
