देहूकरांनी जे लिहिले आहे ते जबाबदारीने अभ्यासपूर्वक लिहिलेले आहे. त्याांचा पिंडच मुळी चौरस अभ्यास *करून समतोलपणे विवेचन करण्याचा आहे. बारकाईने युगे अठ माहिती गोळा करावी आणि ती सावधपणे मांडावी हे *त्याांना स्वाभाविक झाले आहे. ही माहिती देताना ॐ शब्दांना उलगड्यापासून ग्रंथाच्या प्रामाण्यापर्यंत आणि नवे पाठ सुचवण्यापासून नवे विवेचन सुचवण्यापर्यंत सर्व वैविध्य त्यांच्याकडे आहे. तुकाराममहाराजांच्या एका लीचे अभंगातील पाठ त्यांनी महिपतीच्या आधारे दुरुस्त करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे.

What Dehukar has written is done with responsibility and thorough study. His very nature is to conduct comprehensive research and present balanced analysis. It comes naturally to him to gather information with great care and present it cautiously. While presenting this information, he demonstrates wide-ranging ability—from explaining the meanings of words to establishing the authenticity of texts, and from suggesting new readings to offering new interpretations. He has also attempted to correct a particular line from an abhang of Sant Tukaram, based on the work of Mahipati.
