कम जगह में अधिकतम चारे का उत्पादन लेकर उसे प्रक्रिया द्वारा सुरक्षित रखने का किफायती विकल्प साइलैज (मुरघास) निर्माण तकनीक है। जब चारे की कमी होती है, तब गुणवत्ता बनाए रखा हुआ यह साइलैज उपयोग में लाकर हम चारे की कमी पर आसानी से काबू पा सकते हैं।
